Auterion has released new versions of its AuterionOS and Auterion Mission Control with the aim of bringing significant improvements to Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

Enhanced situational awareness with NextVision Raptor

With the full integration of NextVision cameras, Auterion expands its ecosystems of supported payloads for a wide range of applications and end users. In particular, NextVision Raptor brings situational awareness to a new level thanks to an electro-optical sensor with 80x zoom, and a high resolution infrared camera.

It is now easier to perform operations in extended and dynamic environments, thanks to the tight integration of Auterion’s platform components, the specific trajectory patterns and payload commands triggered by the ground control station, and the payload behavior managed by the onboard software.

Reduced load for the in-field operator

Many actions that the operator historically needed to perform to get the most from ISR missions are now taken over from the software features. The operator will only need to focus on payload adjustments from Auterion Mission Control, while the vehicle will automatically readjust its trajectory to keep a target always in the field of view.

Different end users will benefit from the improved autonomy of missions, including law enforcement officers, first responders and rescue operators. Auterion makes the job of these users more efficient, allows them to obtain better information and increases their safety.

Further features

Improved onboarding and user experience in Auterion Mission Control

According to Auterion, getting started with a new Auterion powered vehicle is easier than ever with the new onboarding wizard that enables users to register vehicles in Auterion Suite and includes a page to activate or deactivate features like picture upload and live video stream directly from Auterion Mission Control.

The latest version of Auterion Mission Control presents a brand new UI, with improved design and further simplified planning and flying experience. This significantly increases the app’s user-friendliness and confirms its simplicity of use even with minimal training.
