Acecore Releases Zoe Drone on Auterion’s Open Ecosystem

Auterion has announced that the Acecore Zoe is now part of the Auterion Open Ecosystem. The Zoe, well known for its versatile, all-weather design, is a portable heavy-lift drone that can be configured from quadcopter to octocopter for added motor redundancy.

By connecting with Auterion Suite via Skynode, the Acecore Zoe delivers data and live video streaming automatically, in real time, while the drone is flying and performing its mission. This zero-touch, fleet-to-Suite integration means data is collected, analyzed and presented for an improved data workflow. Online-first capabilities with 5G connectivity and an array of new, tightly integrated payload options make drone operations more flexible and efficient for enterprise.

Open Ecosystem Enables Fleet-Building Flexibility

Each drone system on the market comes with its own dedicated ground control station and user experience. Organizations that need to build a diverse fleet of drones to meet differing use cases are slowed when operators have to learn, maintain and update multiple operating systems. The approach with closed proprietary systems can be difficult to scale, especially with large fleets of drones. Auterion’s open ecosystem is expanding with more drones, payloads and third-party applications that give customers flexibility and choice when building out their drone fleets.

Within the Auterion ecosystem, all vehicles are operated using the same software experience—Auterion OS, Auterion Mission Control, and Auterion Suite. An organization can operate an Acecore Zoe and other kinds of drones using the exact same ground control station, analyzing their mission data in the same web app and completing updates using the same process. Companies can scale their drone fleets across multiple platforms from multiple vendors while ensuring their core operating platform is unified.
