Nicomatic DLMM connector

Nicomatic has unveiled its latest product development, a new lightweight metalized connector. The DLMM is Nicomatic’s DMM connector with the addition of a flange and a metalized composite shell. The new shell will provide a lighter solution compared to traditional metal connectors. With up to 40% in weight savings, the connector will be ideal for UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) applications, with the lower weight allowing for increased flight time and agility.

The new solution will provide EMI protection and performances to MIL-DTL83513G standard. It will be available in the company’s five stocked 2 row shell sizes (male on PCB and female on harness). After choosing the shell, customers will be able to design the connector to their specifications by choosing contact layout, terminations, shape and fixing hardware.
