Iris Automation Casia 360 Detect-and-Avoid Demo

In this real-world demonstration Iris Automation’s showcases its onboard Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) system for UAS – Casia 360 in a fixed-wing drone to autonomously detect a manned aircraft, classify it, and then trigger an avoidance manoeuvre when it finds a risk of collision. Iris Automation’s machine learning-based technology is rigorously tested by their dedicated flight operations team at one of their sites in the Nevada desert.
