In this video, Xer Technologies presents its hybrid-electric UAV technology and outlines the capabilities of its flagship X8 platform.
Xer Technologies develops next-generation hybrid-electric Unmanned Aerial Vehicles designed for heavy-duty missions in extreme environments. The X8 delivers up to 2.5 hours of flight time with a 3 kg payload and can carry up to 7 kg, operating in adverse weather and temperatures from –20°C to +45°C.
With a modular architecture supporting more than 20 interchangeable payloads — including optical and thermal cameras, gas detection systems, LiDAR, magnetometers, and defense-grade ISR and electronic warfare sensors — the aircraft can be rapidly reconfigured for commercial and defense missions such as power line inspection, methane detection, maritime operations, mine detection, and ISR in GPS-denied environments.
The video also highlights the company’s fully in-house development approach and its ongoing work to enhance autonomy, expand payload options, and extend flight endurance.
