Beyond Vision has officially unveiled the BVQ418, an AI-driven smart quadcopter engineered to provide high-stakes aerial intelligence across industrial, defense, and emergency sectors.
The aircraft is designed as a heavy-lift autonomous solution that bridges the gap between portability and massive operational power. Weighing 12 kg with a maximum take-off weight of 18 kg, the BVQ418 supports a 6 kg payload capacity and is built to operate in GNSS-denied environments. To ensure mission success in the field, the system is equipped with multiple redundant communication links including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, and 5G, providing an unlimited operational range wherever cellular coverage exists, supplemented by a point-to-point radio link with a range of up to 100 km.
The platform is engineered for precision, featuring an on-board RTK (Real Time Kinematic) GNSS module that achieves a localization margin of error of approximately 5 cm. This positioning module fuses data from all major satellite systems, including GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Beidou, and QZSS. With a rate of climb of 12.6 km/h and a top speed of 80 km/h, the drone can quickly ascend to optimal altitudes for rapid response scenarios.
The BVQ418 features an IP54 rating, ensuring the drone can operate effectively in various weather conditions, including rain and dust. Its modular design allows for tool-free assembly and immediate deployment, making it an ideal option for on-the-go operations such as security sweeps and search and rescue.
The system supports over 40 compatible payloads, ranging from diverse camera options for fire prevention and wildlife preservation to specialized tools like SIM catchers for tracking mobile devices in distress. With a flight autonomy of 90 minutes, the BVQ418 offers extended operational time for long-duration surveillance and infrastructure inspections without the need for frequent battery changes.
