CTI-INTL Solutions’ STRIKE O is an NVIDIA Orin NX-based edge computing system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), as well as defense, industrial, robotics, and autonomous systems.
It delivers high-performance Artificial Intelligence (AI) processing directly at the edge, supporting real-time data analysis, computer vision, and autonomous decision-making without relying on cloud connectivity. Its compact size, low power consumption, and advanced GPU architecture make it suitable for operation in demanding environments.
NVIDIA Orin NX Processing & Connectivity
STRIKE O delivers AI performance of up to 60 TOPS through a 1,024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores and an eight-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU. The Linux-based system also incorporates two NVDLA engines, 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory, and 16 GB of eMMC storage, with power specified at 25 W.
The platform provides three 1 Gbps Ethernet interfaces and four 100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces, alongside one CANBus interface, two RS232 interfaces, two RS422 interfaces, and an RS232DB connection. Additional connectivity includes one HD-SDI input, 16 GPIO connections, one 1PPS input, and one USB 3.0 interface.
The connector configuration includes one 100-pin Micro-D connector and one SMA HD-SDI connector, while the system accepts a power input of 17–32 VDC.
Built for Demanding Environments
STRIKE O is housed in a black-anodized aluminum 6061 chassis and carries an IP65 ingress protection rating.
Its environmental specifications include MIL-STD-810G temperature and altitude provisions, with an optional temperature range of −5°C to +71°C without solar radiation and an optional altitude range of −2,000 to 18,000 feet.
The specifications also cover MIL-STD-810G salt fog, humidity, vibration, and functional shock, including functional shock specified at 20 g for 11 ms under Method 516.6. STRIKE O is additionally specified to MIL-STD-461G for EMI/RFI and MIL-STD-1275, and is supplied with a one-year warranty.
