Enhanced Flight Endurance
The IE-SOAR modules have provided a direct replacement for traditional battery technology, offering a higher energy-to-mass ratio that is approximately double that of standard batteries. This advancement has allowed UAVs to fly further and for longer durations, effectively unchaining them from the restrictive flight times typically associated with battery power. By utilizing only hydrogen and ambient air to produce clean DC power, the modules have enabled previously impossible applications and have made Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations more viable due to the extended range provided.
Technical Versatility and Integration
The IE-SOAR units have delivered clean power outputs ranging from 800W to 2.4kW. These modules have been designed with the flexibility to be integrated together in parallel, reaching higher power outputs of up to 24kW. This modularity has allowed the technology to target a broad spectrum of industries, including mapping, LiDAR, linear inspection, and defence. The systems are 6S to 16S compatible and have been engineered to automatically follow load demand in the same manner as a battery.
