The Q605-60H from Z³ Technology is a compact single-camera video encoder supporting H.265/HEVC, H.264 and MJPEG compression. It accepts UHD video at up to 4Kp60 and converts incoming footage into IP streams for transmission over Gigabit Ethernet. HDMI input and pass-through are supported, while available output protocols include RTP, RTSP, MPEG-2 TS, RTMP, RTMPS and SRT. The unit can stream video while recording concurrently to Network File System storage, USB media or a Micro SD card, providing flexible options for capturing and distributing high-resolution video.
Operators can configure and manage the Q605-60H through its HTTP/HTTPS web interface, API, ONVIF connection, SSH or serial control. ONVIF Profile S and T compatibility is provided alongside IP transport of VISCA camera commands, absolute PTZ control and Pelco D positioning. Integrated processing enables GPS or NTP information to be placed over video, with timestamp and KLV information supported through overlays or SEI data. The 58 × 58 × 38 mm, 107 g encoder accepts 12 V DC or PoE power and typically consumes 4.5 W when encoding 4Kp60, supporting compact video installations for the aerospace, surveillance, broadcast and customized applications identified by the manufacturer.
