GNSS-aided inertial system for land-based mobile mapping

Applanix POS LVX+™ is a GNSS-aided inertial system developed for land-based mobile mapping and positioning. Building on Applanix POS LV position and orientation technology for land vehicles, the platform combines dual GNSS receivers with support for dual IMUs, including an onboard IMU, to provide accurate position and orientation data for georeferencing workflows. The POS LVX+ Series spans models 125 through 600, providing scalable performance choices alongside onboard MEMS and external IMU configurations for applications requiring additional precision or redundancy.

Applanix POS LVX+ incorporates Trimble Applanix IN-Fusion+® firmware and is supplied with factory-installed Trimble CenterPoint® RTX corrections and a POSPac Complete license. This combination supports both real-time positioning and post-processed georeferencing within an integrated workflow, reducing the additional configuration required before field deployment. Its combination of GNSS reception, inertial measurement, correction services, and processing capabilities provides a unified positioning platform for professional mobile mapping systems and other land-based data acquisition applications.
