The SIMPULSE SL300-R Data Link Modem provides mobile data, telemetry, and live HD video connectivity for long-range UAV and UGV missions where link stability is critical. Its proprietary software-defined radio architecture combines high receiver sensitivity with synchronization engineered for moving platforms and low signal-to-noise conditions. SIMPULSE signal processing compensates for Doppler effects, interference, and multipath propagation, supporting operation across both line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight links. With HD video transmission specified beyond 140 km, dual-band operation, anti-jamming capability, multiple logical links, and secure communications, the modem is designed for demanding airborne and terrestrial uncrewed systems.
Built into an IP55-rated aluminum enclosure, the SL300-R extends the capabilities of SIMPULSE's earlier SL200 platform with greater RF power, two operating frequency bands, increased bandwidth, and mesh networking. Link-analysis functions enable measurements under operational conditions, while the radio is designed to preserve a control connection even beyond the nominal communication range. Its low electromagnetic footprint, adaptable configuration, Ethernet and serial interfaces, and 10 kbps to 10 Mbps data-rate range make it suitable for critical long-distance video, command, control, and telemetry links. The compact 270 g unit incorporates a heat sink and fan for deployment on mobile unmanned platforms.
