The Silicon Designs, Inc. Model 2240 MEMS DC Test and Measurement 1-Axis Accelerometer provides enhanced performance over temperature in zero to medium frequency applications experiencing large or rapid temperature variations or maintaining hot or cold extremes for extended periods of time where environmental conditions require a robust, hermetic, titanium package. Each 2240 contains one of SDI's own Model 1522 accelerometer LCC chips, making them less sensitive to temperature changes and gradients from -55 to +125°C and greatly reducing bias and scale factor temperature shifts for premium performance. 2240 1-Axis Premium Hermetic MEMS DC Test and Measurement Accelerometer

The 2240 is a specialty single axis accelerometer module designed for test and measurement applications. Incorporating SDI's 1522 industrial-grade surface mount MEMS accelerometer chip, it is ideal for drone and robotics development.

The 2240's simple 4-wire connection provides easy DAQ integration in single-ended and differential modes. Onboard voltage regulation and an internal voltage reference eliminate the need for precision power supplies while integrated amplifiers and low impedance analog outputs support up to 2000 feet of cable.

The rugged hermetically-sealed IP67-rated module is designed to maintain high performance even while experiencing large or rapid temperature fluctuations, or prolonged periods of extreme temperatures. Each unit is individually tested, calibrated and verified in a climate chamber, and a full calibration report is provided.
