TA4590
Permabond TA4590 is a structural acrylic adhesive designed primarily for metals, ferrites, ceramics and selected thermoplastics. The acid-free, noncorrosive formulation was developed for sensitive copper parts and other electrically conductive surfaces. It is a no-mix system used with Initiator 44, which is applied separately rather than premixed with the adhesive.
TA4590 is suited to magnet bonding in UAV electric motors, including compatible rotor and stator components. Its rapid fixture, high shear strength and resistance to impact, chemicals and elevated temperatures makes it ideal for motor assemblies exposed to centrifugal forces and flight vibration.
