Permabond TA4550 is a two-part, 2:1, low-odor acrylic adhesive developed for structural bonding of nylon and polyamide without a primer or additional surface treatment such as plasma. It also bonds plastics, composites and metals. The thixotropic, nonslump formulation cures rapidly at room temperature and is highly toughened for applications exposed to impact and vibration.
For UAV production, TA4550 is suited to bonding 3D-printed housings, brackets, payload mounts and enclosures made from compatible engineering plastics. Its adhesion to nylon, plastics, metals and composites makes it ideal for assemblies that combine printed parts with inserts, frames or other components, subject to material compatibility and production testing.
