The DA 35 EFI UAV Engine is a 35 cc engine with an electronic fuel injection system for reliable and efficient operation. A magnet assembly in the prop hub enables quick manual starting, and the engine control module operates from a single 3-cell LiPo battery of 1500 mAh or greater capacity. At full throttle, the system draws 12 W (1 A). The DA 35 EFI can be configured with various muffler and alternator options to meet specific UAV platform requirements.
Electrical options include a 200 W power management unit providing outputs of 12–15 VDC at up to 200 W and 4.8–7 VDC at up to 42 W, with an optional 24 V configuration. A 400 W starter-alternator is also available, driving directly from the crankshaft, and can be paired with a 500 W power management unit with integrated starter controller for remote starting. The systems are compatible with LiIon, LiPo, LiFePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and lead acid batteries. Custom alternator configurations are available on request.
