The Gremsy Pixy LR S-PORT V2 Gimbal is a 462 g gimbal system engineered for the Sony ILX-LR1 camera and professional drone surveying and inspection. Its built-in TAG-E module records GPS/RTK position, camera orientation, flight time, and rangefinder data during image capture. The system can embed positioning and flight information into photo EXIF metadata, generate SRT telemetry for video, and synchronize camera timing to UTC using a PPS-capable GPS/RTK source.
Gremsy’s S-PORT Hyper Quick Release enables tool-free changes between compatible S-PORT gimbals and payloads, including VIO and ZIO. USB-C provides ILX-LR1 camera control, while MAVLink Camera Protocol V2 supports QGroundControl and MAVCAM and has been validated with ArduPilot and PX4 platforms. The gimbal is designed for orthomosaic mapping, photogrammetry, power-line, energy, and infrastructure inspection workflows.
