DEEP
Fincantieri’s DEEP is an integrated underwater drone system developed to monitor, protect, develop, and maintain critical subsea infrastructure and port areas. It integrates AUV swarms, early-warning sensors, launch and recovery solutions, a command and control centre, and AI-based data processing within a single operational platform.
Designed for civil, defense, and security requirements, DEEP supports missions around ports, pipelines, communications cables, energy assets, and other strategic underwater installations. Its AUVs can operate at different levels of autonomy, cooperation, and coordination, while the management system enables real-time mission control, data analysis, and environmental monitoring.
