Fibreworks manufactures optical domes and composite enclosures for sensors, payloads and other onboard equipment. Optical domes can be produced around the visibility and geometric requirements of the installed sensor, including systems operating across different wavelength bands. Enclosures can provide environmental protection and incorporate shielding requirements where these form part of the customer’s specification.
Each component can be supplied individually or incorporated into a larger composite assembly. Designs may include metallic inserts, structural hardpoints and interfaces for mounting the sensor or enclosure to the airframe. Fibreworks’ in-house engineering, tooling, machining and finishing capabilities enable completed structures to be delivered ready for payload installation and platform integration.
