Argos 1000 Forward Looking Sonar System

The Argos 1000 is a premier forward-looking sonar system built for mid-sized and large vessels over 40 meters (150+ feet), providing unmatched detection capabilities up to 1000 meters ahead. Designed for high-speed operations up to 25 knots, it delivers vital underwater situational awareness for uncrewed marine platforms navigating in complex or unfamiliar waters. Featuring a variable field of view—120° at 200 m, 90° at 500 m, and 60° at 1000 m—the system uses True Target Motion™ and Local History Mapping™ to produce highly detailed, real-time 3D visualizations, enabling precise obstacle avoidance and route planning.

Optimized for easy fixed installation, the Argos 1000 integrates seamlessly with modern bridge and mission systems, including Wärtsilä NACOS Platinum™ and QPS Qinsy™. Its robust multi-range settings, advanced stabilization, and customizable alarm options make it an indispensable tool for offshore, defense, and autonomous operations requiring dependable deep-water awareness. Optional professional charting software and SDK access ensure that operators can tailor data outputs for specialized mission requirements.
