The Talon RGD2443W is a 24-inch rugged LCD monitor with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) native resolution, which is four times that of Full HD, for displaying highly detailed rugged applications. It is designed to meet demanding SWaP-C requirements with compact housing and optimized weight, making it suitable for space-constrained environments such as surface and sub-surface consoles used for naval display systems, mission and ground control stations, and airborne ISR operations.
The Talon RGD2443W is optionally equipped with E-LFC (EIZO LCD Flicker Compensation) to alleviate flicker in sonar images. This ensures image data is clear and details are discernible to the operator, while also addressing eye fatigue caused by a flickering screen. The Talon Series of COTS rugged LCD monitors are ready to be deployed in extreme environments with features such as optional sunlight readability, IP65 water resistance (front), built-in heater (optional), and conformal coating to protect components in harsh environments.
Every Talon monitor is developed, manufactured, and tested in-house by EIZO, including the main controller boards, auxiliary PCBs, LCD unit, optical bonding, and housing. Testing is conducted at EIZO’s own durability test center to meet MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards.
