Sword Cargo is a long-endurance UAV optimized for tactical cargo transport, ISR missions, and field-deployable logistics in uncrewed and contested environments. Engineered around a unique tandem-wing architecture, Sword Cargo eliminates the traditional tailplane, significantly enhancing lift efficiency, aerodynamic stability, and payload capacity.
The aircraft's forward and rear wing configuration centralizes the center of gravity, minimizing pitch instability and stress-induced fatigue while increasing safety through control surface redundancy. Twin shorter wings halve the loading of each, reducing drag and susceptibility to gust-induced tipping, and extending airframe life, ideal for BVLOS operations and persistent missions over 24 hours.
The platform supports modular hybrid propulsion options including EFI twin-cylinder gasoline engines and full electric variants, with VTOL, STOL, and launcher-deployed configurations available. Rapid load-swap capability, gimbal-mounted multisensor payloads, and ultra-large internal volume enable real-time deliveries and ISR. With scalable autonomy from commercial to GNSS-denied military-grade autopilots, the system integrates seamlessly into Cannon’s flexible C3 ground control architecture, from tablet-operated missions to containerized mobile command centers.
