PoEBlox is a compact 360W PoE switch engineered for embedded systems requiring high-power Ethernet connectivity in size- and weight-constrained environments.
Designed as a power delivery daughterboard for the GigaBlox Nano, the unit creates an ultra-compact four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with active PoE capability delivering up to 90W per port. The board integrates an active PSE controller, onboard power FETs, and high-current RJ45 connectivity to provide reliable power and data distribution for drones, unmanned systems, and robotic platforms.
Developed for embedded PoE deployment in demanding applications, PoEBlox supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 standards with automatic power negotiation for connected devices.
The system only enables power delivery after successful PoE negotiation, ensuring compatibility with compliant powered devices while protecting connected hardware. Operating from a 48–60V supply for PoE functionality, the platform simplifies cabling and reduces system complexity for airborne and ground-based autonomous systems. Included cabling enables immediate integration into compact embedded architectures.
