ŞAHİN 130/40GL is a 40 mm hard-kill counter-UAS system designed to defeat mini and micro UAVs with programmable airburst ammunition. The system combines remote command, a stabilized director and automated target tracking with the 40 mm MK19 Mod3 grenade launcher and ATOM 40 ABM ammunition.
The system can automatically slew to radar-provided target positions and track targets during day, night and adverse-weather conditions. Its multi-band sensor package includes daytime and thermal cameras and a laser range finder, while the fire control algorithms enable engagements against both air and ground targets.
ŞAHİN 130/40GL provides a compact physical destruction layer for critical site protection, tactical border security and layered air defense architectures. It can be used against highly maneuverable mini and micro UAVs, delivering a hard-kill effect without relying solely on electronic attack.
