The Asartech PZ0502 is an RF frequency synthesizer with two related outputs. The first output covers 6.5–7.5 GHz, and a multiplication factor of four produces the second output at 26–30 GHz.
The module incorporates a TCXO and an external 100 MHz reference input. An RS-485 interface provides attenuation control and monitoring of module temperature and amplifier current consumption. Applications include radar, test equipment and high-speed data-converter clocking.
