The GS2L ground station with Linux is an omni-directional airspace awareness and Remote ID reception solution designed to support the safe integration of unmanned aircraft into shared airspace. Combining ADS-B, FLARM, BLE Remote ID, Wi-Fi Remote ID, LTE connectivity, and a multi-constellation GNSS receiver within a rugged enclosure, the system delivers continuous situational awareness for UAS operators conducting VLOS and BVLOS missions. Its all-in-one architecture simplifies deployment while enabling reliable reception of cooperative air traffic and networked identification data across operational environments.
Built around a Linux-based single-board computer, the GS2L provides substantial processing capacity, expanded memory resources, streamlined software maintenance, and flexibility for future application development. Data can be transported via LTE or Ethernet, while Power over Ethernet (PoE) enables installation distances of up to 100 meters from the power source using a standard Ethernet cable. Supplied with the required antennas and cabling, the station is engineered for rapid installation and long-term outdoor operation. The IP67-rated housing protects the system in demanding weather conditions, making it well suited for permanent airspace monitoring infrastructure supporting drone operations where operational safety and regulatory compliance are essential.
