The Advanced Navigation Air Data Unit 2.0 (ADU2) supplies pitot-derived airspeed, barometric altitude, and external temperature measurements to aerial platforms. Absolute and differential pressure sensing is paired with an external temperature sensor, while an internal backup pressure sensor adds redundancy if the primary pitot-static path becomes obstructed. Factory calibration supports measurement accuracy across a broad thermal range, and three variants cover maximum airspeeds from 63 m/s (122 kts) to 201 m/s (390 kts).
When coupled with an Advanced Navigation Certus Evo INS, the ADU2 provides velocity aiding that limits inertial drift when GNSS is unavailable or contested, helping preserve position and heading performance during dead reckoning. Its 120 g enclosure, 40 mA typical consumption at 5 V, and 20 Hz data output suit fixed-wing Group 1–3 UAVs, including platforms used for ISR, loitering munitions, kinetic interception, BVLOS operations, and autonomous aerial surveying and mapping.
