Apella Solutions has launched the POWERLINK 1W Inline COFDM Amplifier to address the critical need for extended range and reliable RF links in complex radio systems.
Designed for straightforward integration into existing communication infrastructures, the inline amplifier provides additional transmit power for both unmanned and manned vehicle-mounted setups, as well as fixed-site installations.
Maintaining a strong and consistent signal connection is essential when operating over greater distances, and this unit delivers a lightweight, compact footprint measuring 91 × 54 × 49 mm to suit space-constrained deployments.
Operating standardly across the 1.0–1.5 GHz frequency band, the system features options to tune up to 1.7 GHz alongside a standard bandwidth of 500 MHz. For thermal management during operation, the unit incorporates integrated cooling fins, while an internal circulator provides output protection.
The amplifier operates on a 12V supply with an operational input range spanning 11–16V, and features standard N-Type RF input and output connectors. Built to withstand demanding operational environments, the unit carries a specified operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C to support mission-critical RF networks.
