D-Fend Solutions’ EnforceAir platform was deployed extensively across North American host cities during the 2026 FIFA World Cup to protect matches, surrounding venues, and critical infrastructure from unauthorized drone activity.
Selected by national, federal, state, and local law enforcement and public safety agencies, the system provided coverage across the tournament’s multi-national footprint in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Operating under strict confidentiality leading up to and during the tournament, the deployment established a multi-site cyber counter-drone presence scaled across a complex, multi-layered security environment.
EnforceAir non-kinetic, radio frequency (RF) cyber-driven takeover technology enables security personnel to mitigate drone risks by taking control of unauthorized aircraft without relying on kinetic force or causing interference to surrounding critical infrastructure and vital communications.
The company’s expansion into U.S. state, local, tribal, and territorial markets has been enabled by recent legislation, reflecting an increasing demand for field-proven counter-drone solutions at municipal, state, and regional levels. Participating public safety partners involved in the counter-drone operations included the Pennsylvania State Police, the City of Atlanta Police Department, the Cobb County Police Department, and the Mexico City Police.
