Vizgard, a developer of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and perception technologies for defense and security applications, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AERIX SYSTEMS to establish a strategic partnership focused on next generation detection, target tracking, and onboard autonomy capabilities.
The agreement brings together Vizgard’s expertise in real time AI driven perception, data fusion, and multi target tracking with AERIX SYSTEMS’ robotic and autonomous platforms. The collaboration will explore the integration of intelligent software and robotic systems to address emerging operational requirements across surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, and Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) missions.
Vizgard’s AI technologies are designed to analyse complex and dynamic environments, enabling the rapid detection, classification, and tracking of potential threats while enhancing situational awareness for operators. By combining these capabilities with AERIX SYSTEMS’ advanced robotic solutions, the two companies aim to develop highly autonomous systems that can deliver enhanced operational effectiveness in contested environments.
The partnership also builds on the strong innovation credentials of both organisations, which are participants in the NATO DIANA programme. Through this collaboration, Vizgard and AERIX SYSTEMS intend to strengthen the synergies between AI, advanced perception technologies, and robotics, supporting the development of future operational capabilities for defence and security forces worldwide.
The MoU is seen as an important step in accelerating the deployment of intelligent autonomous systems capable of addressing increasingly complex security challenges and enabling more effective protection of critical assets and personnel.
