Percepto has launched a next-generation inspection intelligence platform designed to scale expert-level asset evaluations across complex energy infrastructure.

Autonomous Inspection Platform Launched for Energy Infrastructure

Energy operators, including oil and gas companies and electric utilities, face rising inspection demands, increasing infrastructure complexity, and limited access to experienced field expertise. While basic automation can assist with data collection, scaling operations requires systems capable of delivering trusted outcomes that reflect how experienced inspectors evaluate field assets.

To address this, the new platform incorporates inspection logic designed to determine what data to capture, how to capture it, and what surrounding context matters. The system integrates next-generation Percepto Air drones, inspection-grade onboard autonomy, contextual AI, AIM asset intelligence, and managed remote operations to link findings directly to specific infrastructure assets.

By repeatedly capturing, analyzing, and connecting asset data across operations, enterprises can track infrastructure conditions over time. This supports more informed field decisions, improved maintenance prioritization, enhanced asset health management, and better capital planning. The shift reflects a broader transition in energy operations away from manual inspection cycles and isolated drone programs toward autonomous systems that extend expert inspection capacity across sites, assets, and workflows.

Dor Abuhasira, CEO, Percepto, stated, “The next phase of industrial autonomy is about unlocking more value from the infrastructure energy companies already operate. Percepto’s next generation was built for exactly this moment, bringing expert inspection logic into autonomy so energy companies can capture the right data, understand it in context, and act with confidence at scale.”
