Callen-Lenz and Applied Intuition UK have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlining their intent to collaborate on the development and integration of AI-enabled autonomous capabilities for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS).

The agreement establishes a framework for both companies to explore how AI-enabled autonomous collaborative behaviors can enhance the operational effectiveness of Callen-Lenz’s autonomous and remotely operated UAS platforms.

By combining Callen-Lenz’s expertise in UAS operations and mission systems with Applied Intuition UK’s autonomy software capabilities, the initiative aims to accelerate the development of next-generation autonomous capabilities that improve mission performance, resilience, and operational agility.

The collaboration is expected to investigate autonomous collaborative behaviors that enable UAS to analyze mission data in real time, support informed decision-making during mission execution, and coordinate actions across multiple platforms with reduced operator workload.

The companies intend to identify opportunities for technology integration, joint development activities and future programs that demonstrate the benefits of AI-enhanced autonomous mission execution.

The MoU reflects the companies’ shared ambition to advance autonomous technologies that support increasingly sophisticated operational requirements across defense, security, and commercial applications.
