Beyond Vision and Gremsy, a manufacturer of advanced camera payload solutions for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening their collaboration on integrated UAV and robotic solutions.
The agreement was signed on June 16 during Eurosatory 2026, where the two companies also presented an integrated aerial intelligence solution combining Beyond Vision’s BVQ418 Smart Quadcopter with Gremsy’s VIO camera payload.
The joint system combines the reliability and endurance of the BVQ418 Smart Quadcopter with the high-performance visual and thermal imaging capabilities of the VIO payload. Designed for demanding operational environments, the integration demonstrates how autonomous flight and advanced aerial imaging can support public safety, emergency response, and critical infrastructure operations.
Together, the technologies enable operators to monitor large areas, assess incidents, inspect critical assets, and maintain situational awareness in complex operational settings.
Potential applications include search and rescue, infrastructure inspection, disaster response, perimeter monitoring, and public safety operations. Whether deployed in mountainous terrain, remote regions, or areas requiring rapid response, the system is designed to help organizations capture actionable information and make informed decisions more quickly.
The MoU establishes a framework for closer cooperation between Beyond Vision and Gremsy in the development and promotion of integrated UAV and robotic solutions. Under the agreement, the companies will explore opportunities to integrate Gremsy’s payload and gimbal technologies with Beyond Vision’s autonomous drone and robotic platforms.
The collaboration also includes joint technical evaluation and testing activities, drawing on the engineering, research, development, and manufacturing expertise of both teams.
Jay Huynh, Chief Commercial Officer at Gremsy, commented, “Our partnership with Beyond Vision demonstrates the value of open and interoperable UAV technologies. Together, the BVQ418 and VIO integration delivers a powerful combination of endurance, imaging capability, and operational flexibility designed to support demanding real-world missions. The signing of this MoU marks an important milestone in our collaboration and reflects our shared commitment to developing advanced solutions that address the evolving needs of customers worldwide.”
The partnership reflects the wider role of open ecosystem collaboration in the UAV sector, enabling operators to select complementary technologies and deploy solutions tailored to their operational requirements. By bringing together Beyond Vision’s autonomous aerial systems and Gremsy’s imaging payload expertise, the companies are helping organizations improve mission effectiveness, enhance situational awareness, and respond more effectively to real-world challenges.
