Sparrowhawk employs computer vision algorithms, supported by ADS-B, to provide an integrated airspace picture with advanced situational awareness. A single radar unit can cover up to 1,500km², delivering extensive operational coverage for BVLOS operations. Networked radars can cover entire metropolitan cities and create safe Advanced Air mobility (AAM) corridors.
Sparrowhawk DAA is a portable radar system, which can be deployed on mid-sized vehicles or simply a tripod, overcoming the size and weight limitations typically associated with ground based DAA radars.
The radar provides comprehensive 360-degree coverage during the day and night, within diverse weather conditions. Sparrowhawk can detect and filter weather effectively, including rain, snow, smoke, fog, and birds.
