Autonomy Unleashed 2025 from D3IP will provide an opportunity to engage directly with key decision-makers, policy influencers, and technology pioneers driving the real-world development and deployment of autonomous systems. Over three-quarters of delegates confirmed for the event come from Defence, Law Enforcement, the Public Sector, and Academia.

For delegates who register now, D3IP is offering 20% off all event fees with the discount code echoAU20.

The event opens with a keynote session from Lt Gen John (Jack) N.T. Shanahan, the inaugural director of the US DoD Joint Artificial Center (JAIC), exploring ‘the future of AI-enhanced autonomy in military operations.’ As the founding Director of the Algorithmic Warfare Cross-Functional Team (Project Maven), he pioneered the DoD’s first operational AI programme, advancing the use of AI for military operations, and intelligence collection and analysis.

The conference will then turn to three pressing themes driving progress in this increasingly growing sector: conquering autonomy hurdles; realising autonomous potential; and revolutionary, inclusive, and next-gen autonomous systems.

Speakers taking to the stage include Paul Newman, President, Co-Founder & CTO of Oxa; Varuna De Silva, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies at Loughborough University; and Richard Walters, Lead Research Data Scientist at the Defence AI Research (DARe) Centre.

Delegates will also hear from:

  • Alex Kehoe, CEO & Founder of Vizgard
  • Prof John McDermid, Lloyd’s Register Foundation Chair of Safety at the University of York
  • Saber Fallah, Professor of Safe AI and Autonomy and the Director of CAV-Lab at the
    University of Surrey
  • Dr Abigail Hird, Director at Defankle Innovation Limited
  • Susan Scurlock, CEO & Founder of Primary Engineer

As well as the opportunity to hear from, and network with leading figures in autonomy and autonomous technologies, delegate will receive access to the event registrant directory to arrange one-to-one meetings, and presentations post-event.

A limited number of showcasing opportunities are also available for organisations who want to demonstrate their services and technologies to the potential customers attending.
