Volarious has unveiled the V-Line Pro, a next-generation tethered power system now fully compatible with the DJI Matrice 4E and 4T drone platforms.

Designed to meet the growing demand for long-endurance aerial operations in surveillance, inspection, and tactical deployments, the V-Line Pro enables continuous drone flight for up to 10 hours, advancing how enterprise and government users operate unmanned systems in the field.

Weiliang, CEO of Volarious, said, “The Matrice 4 series is DJI flagship drones for enterprise industries, it excels in diverse applications such as surveillance and event monitoring. The V-Line Pro reduces the need to land the drone for battery swap thus reducing blind spots.”

Weiliang added, “We are motivated to bring the use case of the Matrice 4 Series to a new height. We believe the V-Line Pro will benefit professionals across various fields. Whether you’re a firefighter, search and rescue officer, or security professional, the V-Line Pro will enhance your aerial operations.”

At the core of the V-Line Pro is a lightweight, aviation-grade tether that enables safe and stable drone operations at altitudes of up to 70 meters. The system includes a smart tension control mechanism that automatically adjusts tether slack based on wind conditions, maintaining optimal cable tension and enabling reliable one-person operation.

The reel motor supports rapid deployment and recovery, with an ascent and descent rate of 7 meters per second, allowing for fast repositioning of the drone without inducing excessive strain on the tether line.

Safety and reliability are central to the V-Line Pro’s design. The system incorporates a comprehensive Advanced Thermal Control System that uses six temperature sensors and nine high-efficiency cooling fans to actively monitor and regulate heat across key components, ensuring stable performance even during extended missions in harsh environmental conditions.

The V-Line Pro is designed for compatibility with a wide range of external battery stations, enabling operational flexibility. When connected to a 2 kWh AC power source, the system can sustain continuous drone flight for up to 10 hours, significantly increasing mission duration without the need for battery swaps or landings.

To enhance operational awareness, Volarious includes the V-Assist App, which provides real-time monitoring of system metrics such as tether tension, power status, and thermal conditions. This ensures users can make informed decisions in the field and quickly respond to any anomalies.

The V-Line Pro is seen as a significant step forward in tethered drone technology, offering DJI Matrice 4 Series users a rugged, intelligent solution for persistent aerial operations. It is ideal for public safety, infrastructure monitoring, defense, and other mission-critical applications where extended flight time and real-time data continuity are essential.
