After four years of rigorous innovation and testing in collaboration with the Department of Defense and law enforcement, Trace set a new standard in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) for sUAS.
Ziyan Unveils Long Endurance Unmanned Helicopter at UMEX 2024
Ziyan UAS showcased its new product, the Shadow S3 long endurance unmanned helicopter at UMEX 2024, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
As a next-generation smart aerial platform, the Shadow S3 has undergone a complete upgrade in both its industrial design and performance. Designed to revolutionize operational efficiency, it brings forth several innovative highlights.
Ziyan’s Shadow S3 patrol unmanned helicopter can be easily transported and carried in a backpack, and features a wind resistance of level 7, a maximum take-off weight of less than 7kg, and a maximum endurance of 100 minutes.
New Bathymetric LiDAR system from YellowScan
YellowScan, a designer of next generation manned and unmanned LiDAR solutions, released its new bathymetric system, the YellowScan Navigator, at CES 2024.
The YellowScan Navigator is an innovative bathymetric LiDAR solution. It features a laser scanner developed in-house over the last five years, and has been heavily tested to achieve optimal performance.
This compact system is fine-tuned to map waterbeds within a depth range of 0 to 3 meters, but it reaches a depth of 18 meters in perfectly clear water conditions. It can be flown up to 100m above the water surface and provides measurements with a precision and accuracy of 3 centimeters. Additionally, a camera is embedded to provide true-color data colorization.
Ultra-Long Endurance VTOL UAV Platform Launched
T-DRONES released the VA23, an ultra-long endurance electric multipurpose VTOL UAV.
The VA23 VTOL fixed-wing UAV has a payload capacity of 2.5kg and a flight time of up to 4 hours without a payload. The VA23 is made of carbon fiber, a lightweight material that allows the drone to remain relatively lightweight while maintaining structural strength, and is important for the flight performance and endurance of the UAV.
VA23 is equipped with a power management module and locking propeller function for longer flight time and also has a backpack-type packing box, which makes transportation lighter and smaller.
