Taking place over two days from 18-19 June at the HCA Airport in Odense, Denmark, next year’s International Drone Show is set to be even bigger than the highly successful 2024 event, which saw over 500 industry stakeholders attending from around the world.

Visitors can look forward to a full conference programme, expo area, live demo flights, B2B matchmaking, special events for international guests and a host of networking opportunities. This is the place to connect with industry leaders, discover cutting-edge tech, build partnerships and explore what Denmark’s drone ecosystem has to offer.

Key topics in drone tech will be explored at the conference by a strong lineup of influential speakers and industry experts from Denmark and around the world.

2025 conference themes are:

  • Defence, Security, & the Arctic
  • Industry Use Cases & New Technologies
  • Advanced Air Mobility
  • Integrated Airspace

The first speakers are confirmed, promising engaging talks on a wide range of topics including advancements in U-space regulations, the integration of drones in offshore wind operations, and innovations in defense applications.

Attendees can look forward to hearing talks from among others:

  • Jolana Dvorska, Honeywell International s.r.o.
  • Sebastian Cain, DLR
  • Mathias Vinter, DSV
  • Kay Wackwitz, Drone Industry insights
  • Marcus Ihle, EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG
  • Mette Præst Knudsen, University of Southern Denmark (SDU)

Planning next year’s event

Odense Robotics, Denmark’s national cluster for robotics and drones, and UAS Denmark International Test Center, an internationally renowned test centre for drone technology, are hard at work on next year’s event. This is what the conference team has to say:

Collaboration is at the heart of the Danish ecosystem, and it extends globally. The International Drone Show brings together industry professionals from across the globe to connect, share insights and build partnerships with drone companies, end users, and knowledge institutions. With the event now expanded to two days, we’re raising the bar. We look forward to welcoming more participants and driving innovation in 2025,” says Lisa Rosenlyst Hansen, Business Development Manager, UAS & CUAS at Odense Robotics.

Michael Larsen, Head of UAS Denmark Test Center commented, “For next year’s edition, we’re elevating the annual International Drone Show experience with even more enhanced opportunities for collaboration and networking. Attendees can see demo flights in the 1,900 km2 airspace on site, so the show once again provides unparalleled access to technologies – at the expo and live in action”.
