UTAC 2024 is approaching, featuring an immersive training event that focuses on UAS and robotics. The event aims to familiarize UAS pilots and robotics operators with emerging technologies in the field.

UTAC 2024 will bring together best-in-class technology vendors, uncrewed systems experts, and local, state, federal, and defense operators to learn about and practice with the latest in uncrewed systems and technology.

Key Dates
Local/State/Federal/Enterprise – 3 days | October 21-23, 2024
Defense – 5 days | October 21-25, 2024

Location
Guardian Centers of Georgia | Perry, GA

Through carefully developed hands-on training scenarios, technology workshops, live demonstrations, and expert-led presentations, UTAC provides a unique, immersive training environment.

The first three days of UTAC 2024 allow attendees to observe how local, state, federal, and defense organizations agencies are deploying technology, network and engage with each other, attend an array of technology workshops, and participate in multiple fully immersive scenarios.

The last two days are dedicated exclusively to our defense attendees, who will have the opportunity to practice specific skillsets in additional operations and engage with US and NATO forces, instructors, and select invited vendors.

This year, UTAC will feature New York Police Department’s Deputy Commissioner of Operations, Kaz Daughtry, as the keynote speaker. Deputy Commissioner Daughtry has demonstrated a commitment of public safety since the beginning of his police career in 2006, and he currently partners with other local, city, state, and federal agencies to coordinate plans and preparations for large-scale catastrophic events.

Deputy Commissioner Daughtry’s duties include presiding over Department and Inter-agency tabletop exercises to evaluate public safety responses to unpredictable events, overseeing the NYPD Security Operations Center, and serving as a member of the Intelligence Bureau’s daily briefing team.

A prior UTAC attendee defense operator commented, “UTAC is truly unique. Tactical training lanes have been expertly crafted in complex terrains and attendees learn through repetition how to utilize robotic systems to best enable mission success while teaming with highly trained instructional staff, industry partners, and co-attendees from various professions.”
