T-DRONES has launched the VA17, a new fixed-wing VTOL UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) that features a tilt-rotor design for rapid switching between vertical takeoff and landing and horizontal flight modes.

The fully-electric drone platform requires no runway, making it ideal for launching from extremely limited spaces, and is capable of flight times of up to 120 minutes.

The highly stable and aerodynamic unmanned aircraft can withstand a variety of challenging environmental conditions, and utilizes a robust and lightweight carbon fiber and EPP foam construction that provides an ideal balance between rigidity and flexibility.

The UAV also features an advanced power management system with a compact and high-performance ESC (electronic speed controller), and provides a dual redundant power supply for the flight controller for enhanced safety.

The VA17 can carry payloads of up to 900 grams, and is rapidly deployable, with the ability to be completely assembled or disassembled tool-free in just three minutes.
