Advantech AIMB-723 industrial ATX motherboardAdvantech has released the AIMB-723 series of industrial ATX motherboards, featuring AMD RYZEN Embedded 7000 processors with the AMD B650 chipset. The new motherboards deliver high computing performance with a 7-year lifespan, and are the first in the AIMB range to utilize DDR5 UDIMM memory. They can support up to a three-slot discrete GPU card and three additional PCIe frame grabber cards for machine vision applications.

The AIMB-723 delivers exceptional performance and minimal power consumption, and is ideal for supporting the demands of high-performance industrial tasks such as AI-based machine vision and robotics applications.

The AIMB-723 supports a variety of high-speed I/O, including USB 3.2 (Gen 2) 10 Gbps, dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, M.2, and SATA, enhancing the capabilities of industrial applications at the edge. It also caters to legacy requirements for PCI expansion and common I/O interfaces, including up to six serial ports (5 x RS-232, 1 x RS-232/422/485) for industrial device control. Compatibility is provided with various operating systems, including Windows 10 version 21H2 LTSC, Windows 11 version 22H2 GAC, Windows Server 2022, and Ubuntu 22.04. Comprehensive OS images are provided by Advantech, complete with all the essential drivers for easy setup.
