The SwissDrones SDO 50 V2 helicopter drone has been deployed to detect and measure radioactive particles in a joint operation with the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP).

Making the Invisible Visible

The SDO 50 V2 can be combined with traditional manned aircraft and ground vehicles in order to collect additional radiological information around critical sites and non-accessible areas.

With top-of-class sensor integration the SDO 50 V2 can provide a safer, more cost effective and ecologically friendly solution to aerial radiation detection, delivering high-resolution screening, without risking pilot exposure to radioactivity.
