In the 5th episode of Droniq’s webinar series, the focus is on sea rescue in the North & Baltic Sea.
Every minute counts for shipwrecked people in the North and Baltic Sea. In particular, a rescue can only be carried out quickly if precise information on the location and the situation is available. Rapid localisation from the air is therefore a decisive advance. Together with Hanseatic, the German Shipwrecked Persons Rescue Service (DGzRS) has successfully tested the use of an unmanned flight system that supports rescuers in the search and rescue of people in distress at sea.
Learn in the webinar what the aviation law, legal and organisational challenges were as a BOS force until the first flight.
