Racelogic is a long-term customer of Xsens, and has been using Xsens sensors in its products since 2005, mainly for automotive testing purposes. Earlier this year Racelogic announced indoor vehicle position-tracking with industry-best accuracy using the new VBOX Indoor Positioning System (VIPS) product. Their indoor positioning system (VIPS) achieves industry-best ±2cm accuracy in scenarios with no access to satellite signals. Racelogic is using a highly accurate MTi-100 series inertial measurement unit (IMU) to support this level of accuracy.
