This video showcases the inaugural flight of the XQ-67A, an uncrewed air vehicle developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) under the Air Force Research Laboratory's Off-Board Sensing Station (OBSS) program. This flight, conducted on February 28, 2024, at GA-ASI's Gray Butte Flight Operations Facility near Palmdale, California, marks a significant milestone in the development of autonomous collaborative platforms.

The XQ-67A is the first of a second generation of such platforms, building upon the success of the XQ-58A Valkyrie. It employs a common chassis approach, akin to a vehicle frame, allowing for rapid development and cost-effective replication of various aircraft "species" based on a standard "genus" chassis. This design flexibility enables the integration of different mission-specific kits, such as Off-Board Sensing Stations or Off-Board Weapon Stations, to meet diverse operational requirements.
