Skydio discusses the capabilities of their NightSense technology, designed to enable operators to fly at night with the same ease as during the day.

Integrated on the Skydio X10D drone, NightSense extends the obstacle avoidance and AI features from daytime drone operations to nighttime procedures.

Skydio explain that NightSense is also ideal for operators who are unable to launch from an open field without obstructions. Skydio systems are designed to work under or behind tree cover, allowing takeoff without exposing the operator.
