DTC Codan’s BluSDR™ family of Software Defined MeshUltra™ MANET radios delivers high-quality, low-latency video, audio and control data to support intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance missions across a wide range of unmanned platforms.
Designed for short- to ultra-long-range UxV operations, the BluSDR portfolio provides optimised IP Mesh datalinks in compact, SWaP-efficient form factors. Using DTC’s MeshUltra waveforms, the radios support self-forming, self-healing mesh networking of up to 144 nodes per frequency, delivering resilient connectivity and ultra-low-latency one-to-many video transmission. Selected models add interference avoidance, cognitive frequency agility, spectrum scanning and optional COFDM modes to maintain performance in congested or denied environments.
The BluSDR range, including the BluSDR-6, BluSDR-30, BluSDR-90-UL, BluSDR-90 and BluSDR-200, offers multiple power levels, licensed and unlicensed L, S, ISM and C-band options, and Non-ITAR, FIPS-certified security. GNSS-denied operation, NLOS and multipath performance, Mesh relay functionality and integration with BVLOS bearers such as SATCOM and HF support extended-range unmanned missions. Additional system attributes presented in the material include cellular and satellite interoperability and spectrum-based automated frequency allocation.
