What happens when over a dozen NATO nations, leading defense tech companies, and cutting-edge autonomous systems converge on the Portuguese coastline? You get REPMUS—short for Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping using Maritime Unmanned Systems—one of the world’s most advanced and influential military exercises for unmanned maritime systems and AI-powered defense technologies.
Led by the Portuguese Navy and coordinated with NATO Allied Command Transformation, REPMUS 2025 brings together military forces, research institutions, and industry partners to validate next-generation capabilities in live operational conditions—not simulations, not labs, but real-world joint missions.
In REPMUS 2024, Beyond Vision successfully demonstrated:
- Anti-jamming communications in GNSS-denied environments
- Tactical ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) over sea and land
- Autonomous swarm UAV coordination
Now in 2025, we’re taking it even further—moving from experimental validation to full operational integration. Our teams are:
- Deploying our Mobile Ground Control Station for forward operations
- Launching new ISR payloads for maritime surveillance
- Partnering with IAI to field-test advanced Magnetic Anomaly Detection sensors
Our UAVs are now embedded in missions with Portugal’s elite Unidade X31, supporting everything from amphibious landings and anti-submarine warfare to urban combat simulations, UAV resupply missions, and live fire correction.
This is where military robotics, uncrewed aerial systems, and combat-tested innovation converge.
