ResilienX highlights a growing focus on practical deployment within the Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) ecosystem following its attendance at DroneX London 2026.
Discussions during the two-day event reflected an increasing emphasis on real-world opportunities, integration, certification, and implementation timelines, rather than longer-term aspirations for uncrewed aviation.
Reflecting on the discussions at the event, a member of the ResilienX team commented, “There was a real energy at the show, constant discussions about real opportunities, and not wishful thinking.”
From Future Possibilities to Practical Implementation
For ResilienX, the discussions in London marked a contrast with earlier industry conversations, when uncrewed aviation was largely associated with demonstrations, presentation decks, and future possibilities. Attendees were now raising questions about how operations could work at scale and when, with conversations involving individuals holding budgets and mandates.
The company observed that this shift extends beyond London, appearing locally in Central New York, regionally across the Northeast, nationally as BVLOS rules open the door to real operations, and internationally. Despite the differences between these markets, the underlying question surrounding scale and timing remain consistent.
Regional Support for the UAS Ecosystem
ResilienX acknowledged the organizations and regional initiatives that have supported its participation in the wider uncrewed aviation ecosystem.
Empire State Development established a full New York State pavilion at DroneX 2026. Its broader support for the sector includes years of groundwork associated with the Syracuse-to-Rome drone corridor and GENIUS NY. Operated by CenterState NY, GENIUS NY provided ResilienX with its start in 2019.
The company also recognized CenterState CEO for its support of the Central New York ecosystem through the INSPYRE Innovation Hub by CenterState and NUAIR. ResilienX credits this regional support with helping the company participate in DroneX 2026 with credibility.
