The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT27) will return to RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire for three days of flying displays, static aircraft and aviation attractions.
The event brings together aircraft and participating nations from around the world. RIAT has been running for more than 50 years and supports the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.

Across the three-day event, visitors can watch flying displays, see aircraft on the ground and access different viewing and hospitality areas. Previous event information highlights hundreds of aircraft representing around 30 nations and approximately 18 hours of flying displays.
When is the Event?
RIAT27 will take place from July 16–18, 2027 at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire.
RIAT27 Themes
Tiger Gathering
Tiger Gathering will be the headline theme for RIAT27.
The theme will focus on the NATO Tiger Association and its tradition of specially painted aircraft. The event is expected to bring multiple tiger-themed aircraft together for display.
Tiger Gathering will form part of the wider RIAT27 program, with further themes and attractions due to be announced later in 2026.
What’s On at RIAT27?
Visitors will be able to watch flying displays, explore static aircraft and experience attractions across the showground.
The event is designed around activity both in the air and on the ground, with aircraft and participating nations gathering at RAF Fairford for the three-day program.
Different viewing and hospitality options are also available for visitors who want an alternative location from which to watch the displays.

General Admission
A General Admission ticket provides entry to the airshow, including access to the flying displays and static aircraft.
A General Admission ticket is also required before upgrading to one of the event’s hospitality enclosures.
Altitude
Altitude provides an elevated viewing platform in a central showground location, along with a shaded tent, covered seating, bar furniture and private toilets.
The enclosure also includes an all-inclusive bar, complimentary food, a cloakroom and a live DJ.
Flight Deck
Flight Deck is located on the crowdline and includes a shaded stretch tent, informal unreserved seating and a front-row photography area.
The package also includes a street food lunch, welcome drink, ice cream stall and private toilets.

Event information states that RIAT has attracted almost 170,000 visitors, including almost 22,000 hospitality guests across the three days. The show has featured hundreds of aircraft representing around 30 nations and around 18 hours of flying displays.
More than 90% of surveyed visitors rated the show either “very good” or “good.”
Getting to RIAT27
Free transport options are available for the event.
A free park-and-ride service from South Cerney will take visitors directly to the showground after the necessary checks have been completed.
Shuttle buses also operate from Swindon Bus Station and Cheltenham Racecourse. Seats should be booked when purchasing event tickets.
