Attendees of the 2024 MOSA Summit can look forward to engaging with defense leaders and participating in discussions centered on advancing open systems architectures and methodologies within the Department of Defense.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the Department of Defense’s strategies for implementing this change in its technical and operational approach, with the aim of fully leveraging its benefits – for example, enhanced competition, increased innovation, enhanced interoperability, and streamlined system design and deployment processes.
The summit will closely examine techniques for seamlessly integrating MOSA, empowering defense programs to rapidly respond to evolving threats by facilitating more cost-effective addition, removal, and replacement of components and subsystems throughout the system’s lifecycle.
Featured in this year’s summit agenda are panel discussions exploring the essential role of consortiums in establishing and maintaining open standards, the varied applications of MOSA in Electronic Warfare (EW) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, and the potential of MOSA to drive progress in both manned and unmanned aerial platform design and delivery.
